Your Bank Details

Add or change the bank account your sales are paid into, and what happens while a volunteer checks it.

Step 1 Your Bank Details

We pay what you’ve sold into your bank account once a month, with a statement by email. To do that we need your BSB and account number.

This guide shows you how to add them yourself on your account page, and what happens next.

It takes about two minutes.

Step 2 Find the Sales & payments card

Sign in and go to My Account. In the Sales section, find the card called Sales & payments.

If it says No bank details yet, click Add bank details. (Until they’re on file, Needs you at the top of the page has an Add bank details link too. It opens the same form.)

If the card has no button and asks you to email us instead, entering your own details isn’t switched on for your account. Email the address on the card and a volunteer will enter them for you.

Step 3 Fill in the form

  • BSB: the 6 digits. A dash or space is fine.
  • Account number, typed twice. The second box catches a typo that would send your money to a stranger.
  • Account name, exactly as it appears on your bank statement. Banks now check that the name matches the account.
  • Tick the box to say it’s your own account.
  • Your password for this site, the one you log in with, to confirm it’s you.

Then click Save bank details.

Step 4 A volunteer checks them

The card now says Being checked, with the last three digits of the account, and we email you to say they arrived.

A volunteer checks your details before they’re used. Until they’re checked, payments are held and paid the month after, so add them well before the end of the month.

If something doesn’t match, we email you the reason, the card says Please check, and you click Enter them again.

Step 5 Once they're checked

The card says On file, with the last three digits of your account.

Nobody can see your full numbers again, not even you. They’re locked away as soon as you save them. That’s on purpose: it means nobody can read them from the website, a backup, or someone else’s login.

Step 6 Changing banks

Click Replace and fill in the form again with the new details. They’re checked the same way, and payments wait until they are.

If the new details can’t be confirmed, we email you why and keep paying you into the account we already had.

Don’t send your bank details by email. If a message asks you to, don’t reply. Enter them on your account page, or call us on a number you already know.
