Terms & conditions

[DRAFT-REAL] Artisan & Maker

These terms apply to Artisan & Maker membership of Warburton Waterwheel Inc. ("the Hub"). 1. Membership and fee. Artisan & Maker membership is charged annually at the rate listed on the Membership page. A separate commission or space rental fee applies in addition to membership and is set out in your individual maker agreement. 2. Renewal. Membership renews automatically on the anniversary of activation. You will receive a reminder seven days before renewal and can cancel auto-renewal at any time from your account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. 3. Refunds. Membership fees are non-refundable once activated, except where required by Australian Consumer Law. 4. Eligibility and approval. Artisan & Maker membership is subject to committee approval. The Makers & Shopfront working group reviews applications based on the maker's work, fit with the Hub's curatorial direction, and available space. 5. Public liability insurance. Approved Artisan & Maker members are covered by the Hub's public liability policy while their work is on display in the Hub and while attending approved Hub maker activities. Full coverage details are set out in your individual maker agreement. Coverage does not extend to off-site work, private sales, or activities outside approved Hub maker activities. 6. Display and sales. Display space, hang notes, and consignment terms are set out in your individual maker agreement. Sales proceeds are reconciled and paid to makers in accordance with that agreement. The Hub deducts the agreed commission or rental from sale proceeds. The Hub is not liable for damage, loss, or theft of maker stock beyond the standard public liability cover. 7. Volunteer offset. Members may offset a portion of commission or rental fees by volunteer hours in accordance with the offset schedule set by the Makers & Shopfront working group. 8. Profile content. Members provide their maker profile (bio, photos, mediums) for use on the Hub website and in Hub promotional materials. Members warrant that they own or have the right to use all material provided. The Hub may edit profile content for length, clarity, or consistency. 9. Communications. By joining, you consent to receive Hub newsletter and maker-administrative communications by email. 10. Privacy. The Hub collects contact and trading details necessary to administer your membership and consignment arrangements. See the Hub's Privacy page for the full policy. 11. Ending of membership. You may end your membership at any time by notifying the Makers & Shopfront working group. Outstanding consignment stock and any owed proceeds will be reconciled per your maker agreement. The Hub may end a member's membership at its discretion. 12. Changes. These terms, membership fees, and commission/rental schedules may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 30 days before they take effect. For questions, contact the Makers & Shopfront working group via the Contact page.
